Put That in Your Grill and Smoke it!
Whiskey Barrel and Brandy Barrel Chips
Wood chips are perfect for short smokes, using on the gas grill with a smoker pipe, stainless smoker box, or the integrated smoker tube in the Prestige PRO 665 and 825 gas grills. Newly added to our lineup are the uniquely flavored whiskey and brandy barrel chips. Both are mild and oakey, however, the whiskey has a distinct whiskey finish that reminds you of home and good friends, while the brandy barrel chips have a very distinct sweet wine finish. Both are excellent with beef, pork, poultry, fish, fruit, and vegetables so go wild when adding smoke.
Wood Chunks
Wood chunks are amazing. They’re convenient for those long-haul smokes. Set up your charcoal grill or smoker for the day and add the wood chunks starting in the middle and working your way outwards so that as the charcoal ignites so does the next round of wood chunk. You will only need three or four of them too, making wood chunks last longer.
Mesquite:
Deep and strong mesquite smoke is perfect for these slow smoked and seared tomahawk steaks.
Hickory:
Hickory is what you think of whenever you smell something smoked, be it ribs or bacon, but it’s ideal for a lot, as long as you are into strong smoke flavor.
Apple:
Pork goes well with fruitwoods like Apple, try curing your own ham.
Whiskey Barrel:
The mildness of oak paired with the sweet and homey scent of whiskey is perfect for brisket.
Brandy Barrel:
The sweet finish of Brandy Barrel chunks is ideal for pork, poultry and fruit. Try this recipe for charcoal smoked ribs and find out why!
