At Napoleon, we are committed to continuously resetting the bar for meaningful sustainability in our industry. Today and in the future, we are taking care to support the environment and empower our customers, associates, and communities to do the same. This means reducing manufacturing waste in our facilities, offering products and features that help reduce carbon footprints in the home, and supporting our communities as they grow.

We are committed to minimizing the use of fossil fuels in our products while still maximizing their efficiency and performance.

High-Efficiency Gas Furnace
Our industry-leading 9700 Gas Furnace series uses a two-stage, variable-speed motor to produce heat in the most efficient way possible.
Pilot on Demand
Our new, standardly installed system eliminates the need for an always-on fireplace pilot light, reducing greenhouse gases, conserving energy, and lowering operating costs.
Heat Pump
Our new series is an all-in-one, compatible heating and cooling system for year-round comfort. It also operates on electricity to help reduce homeowners’ carbon footprints.
Fireplace Heat Management
Heat exactly where and when you need it. With our best-in-class heat management systems, you can control heat output in the most environmentally and cost-effective ways.
Electric Fireplaces
Our award-winning electric fireplaces offer low-emission solutions without compromising design style or functionality.
Electric BBQs
In April 2022, we introduced the industry to the first complete line of full-sized Electric BBQs

Evolving our Manufacturing to be More Environmentally Sustainable
As we commit to setting the bar for sustainability in our industry, we’ve implemented changes in our manufacturing practices to have positive environmental impacts.
Fabrication
We’ve made the switch to state-of-the-art, energy-efficient equipment.

Replaced hydraulic turret and brake presses with electric machines that run on 20-50% less energy

Installed LED lighting throughout plants

Replaced carbon dioxide lasers with fiber optic lasers

Installed new energy-efficient air compressors
Waste Diversion & Packaging
Diverting waste lowers our carbon footprint. Over 8 years, we have created 167 full-time jobs* by reducing:

We’ve also swapped out plastic and Styrofoam in our packaging for recycled plastic and cardboard.
