- 1 package fresh pizza dough
- Flour for dusting
- Cornmeal
- Cooking spray
- 1 can (213 ml) premade pizza sauce
- 1 package (150 g) sliced pepperoni
- 2 (200 g) uncased chorizo sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, chopped
- 4 slices ham, chopped
- ½ cup (112 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat the barbecue to 500°F.
- Spray the stainless steel pizza pan with cooking spray. Roll the pizza dough out on a well floured surface. Toss some cornmeal onto the pizza pan and then move the rolled-out pizza dough over top.
- Spread pizza sauce on the rolled-out dough, leaving about half-an-inch (1.27 cm) from the edge all the way around. Top that with about one third of the cheese, then as much of the pepperoni, sausage, bacon and ham as you want (can fit). Then add the last of the cheese.
- Turn off the burners that would be directly under the pizza pan if you have more than 3 burners. Leave two burners on. Bake the pizza on the barbecue for 10 to 15 minutes or until the bottom is crunchy and the toppings are melty and bubbly.
- Remove the cooked pizza from the barbecue using heat resistant gloves. Slide the pizza onto a cutting board to slice and serve.
