Though we’ve already made great progress toward this goal, we now commit to even greater sustainability through the products we create, the people we support, and the environments we help protect. Together, we’ll accomplish this by building on the dedication to innovation and uncompromising quality that have made Napoleon what it is today.

Environmental Initiatives
Environmental Protection & Restoration
In partnership with a local conservation authority, Napoleon is continuing its efforts to restore the eroding banks of Willow Creek. By combining natural materials and a science-based approach with community volunteer support and the use of heavy machinery, the team is working to stabilize the riverbanks and enhance habitats for trout.
Fabrication & Electricity Consumption
We've made the switch to state-of-the-art, energy-efficient equipment
- Installed LED lighting throughout the plants
- Replaced carbon dioxide lasers with fiber optic lasers
- Installed new energy-efficient air compressors.
- We’ve reduced our electricity usage while still increasing product output.
Waste Diversion & Packaging
We have strived to create packaging systems that minimize environmental impact across the full product lifecycle. Supporting customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
We are working on swapping out plastic and Styrofoam in our packaging for recycled plastic and cardboard and have followed the below material strategy with all vendors:
- Create packaging that has a secondary use after the product is consumed
- Recyclable mono-materials (eg. corrugated fibreboard, kraft paper, mono-PE or mono PP plastics, HDPE for rigid packaging)
- Post-consumer recycled content
- Use Certified fibers FSC, PEFC or SFI validated sources

Over 2 million dollars have been donated to various organizations and charities in our community.
YMCA Top Tier Donor
Napoleon has committed to donating $500,000 ($50,000 per year over a 10-year period) to the YMCA of Simcoe Muskoka.

Napoleon matches the contributions of its associates to help those in times of extra need.
Training Our Youth
Napoleon works with various colleges and universities, providing 18-month internships and 4-month co-op programs to develop our next generation.

High-Efficiency Gas Furnace
Our industry-leading 9700 Gas Furnace series uses a two-stage, variable-speed motor to produce heat in the most efficient way possible.
Pilot on Demand
Our new, standardly installed system eliminates the need for an always-on fireplace pilot light, reducing greenhouse gases, conserving energy, and lowering operating costs.
